Huayi Zheng
I am a PhD student at the British Antarctic Survey and the University of Southampton, supported by the IGNITE Doctoral Landscape Award. I am working with Dr. Andrea Meijers, Dr. Alessandro Silvano, Dr. Dave Storkey and Dr. David Munday. My PhD research focuses on Antarctic Bottom Water (AABW): specifically, how much AABW will slow down in the future and what the impacts of such a slowdown will be.
Previously, I completed my Master's degree at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, under the supervision of Prof. Lijing Cheng. My Master's research focused on the contemporary sea-level budget and Atlantic meridional heat and freshwater transport.
